Meet the Fort Lauderdale Team Behind Tilehurst Roofing Fort Lauderdale
Tilehurst Roofing Fort Lauderdale runs on a simple idea: the people who show up at your door are the company. Not a logo, not a brochure, not a phone script. We’re a local crew of roofers, installers, and problem-solvers who work the Fort Lauderdale heat, the afternoon downpours, and the salt air every week. What unites us is the Kingswell Way: say the price before the work, show up in the window we gave, leave the place cleaner than we found it, put the guarantee in writing, and come back if it fails. Every person below has agreed to that standard, and they don’t get to skip it because it’s a Tuesday or because the job ran long.

Our People
Greg Holloway, Owner
Greg has been in roofing since the early 2000s, and he still walks jobs himself when a customer’s roof has a problem that doesn’t photograph well. He started with shingles in his teeth and a nail gun that jammed every third coil, then worked his way into running crews, estimating, and eventually this Tilehurst location under the Kingswell family of companies. He believes a roofer’s reputation is built one valley at a time: the detail that’s hardest to see is the one that matters most. Greg’s personal rule is that no job gets a final invoice until he’d be comfortable putting his own name on the roof. He’d rather explain a repair honestly and lose the job than win it with a number he can’t stand behind.
Marcus D., Lead Technician
Marcus has spent 14 years on South Florida roofs and can read a Fort Lauderdale leak like a map: he knows how wind-driven rain finds its way under drip edge on the east side of a house, and how a ridge cap that looks fine from the street can be failing underneath. He holds manufacturer certifications for GAF and CertainTeed installations, which matters when a roof needs to meet a warranty spec, not just look good from the sidewalk. Marcus keeps a small notepad in his back pocket and sketches out every repair before he touches anything, so homeowners see exactly what he saw. He’s also the guy who names the iguanas he spots on roof inspections. Most of them are called Gary.
Elena R., Senior Installer
Elena has installed or repaired roofing from Oakland Park to the edge of Wilton Manors, and she’s certified on Owens Corning, Atlas, and Tamko systems. Her specialty is flashing work: step flashing, counter-flashing, and the odd chimney detail that most crews hope they don’t have to touch. If a skylight or a wall-to-roof transition is leaking, Elena is the one who figures out why the last repair didn’t hold. She grew up helping her father rebuild hurricane-damaged homes in Miami-Dade, so she treats roof decking like load-bearing truth: if the plywood is soft, you say so, you write it in the quote, and you replace it the right way. She keeps a photo album on her phone of the worst decking she’s ever pulled out, and she will absolutely show you if you ask.
Tommy W., Apprentice & Service Coordinator
Tommy started with us two years ago carrying bundles up ladders and checking off material counts, and he’s worked his way into a dual role: apprentice on the crew and the voice who answers the phone overnight when everyone else is asleep. That means when you call Tilehurst Roofing Fort Lauderdale at 2 a.m. with water coming through the bedroom ceiling, the person on the other end has actually been on a roof and knows what questions to ask first. He’s currently working toward his GAF certification and shadows Marcus on every repair he can. Tommy grew up in Fort Lauderdale and still gets thrown off when a customer offers him a cold bottle of water in summer, like he isn’t used to people being decent. He is. He’s just polite about it.
One Standard, Every Job
Every Tilehurst location operates under the same Kingswell Guarantee, and the Fort Lauderdale crew treats that as a personal contract, not a corporate slogan. The written price goes in your hand before any work starts. The written guarantee is delivered before the crew leaves your driveway, not mailed three weeks later. If a repair fails inside the guarantee period, we come back at no charge under the 365-Day Done Right Promise, and we don’t make you argue about it. Marcus, Elena, Tommy, and Greg all carry that same rule onto every roof, whether it’s a five-hundred-dollar flashing repair or a full replacement with materials from all seven manufacturers we offer: GAF, CertainTeed, Owens Corning, IKO, Atlas, Tamko, and Boral. The product fits the home, not just what’s in the truck. That’s the standard.
